Postpartum Doula & Sleep support

designed for you

If you’re seeking personalized, nurturing support for both you and your baby, my postpartum doula and sleep consulting services in Western Connecticut are designed to help your entire family rest, recover, and thrive.

Postpartum Recovery Support

Few periods in life are as intense as the transition into motherhood. Your baby is your first thought - they need to be comforted, soothed, and acclimated to the world around them. It can be easy to forget that you, too, need time and space to acclimate to your new body, world, and life.

The physical and emotional care needed during this time can also be complicated by more mundane needs. Your laundry needs to be done, the family needs to eat, and showers eventually become necessary. None of these are as important as caring for yourself and your baby, but it can be easy to feel pressured to get back into the swing of daily life.

"Taking care of yourself doesn't mean me first,

it means me too"

Virtual One-on-One Postpartum Doula Support

Personalized, one-on-one guidance-wherever you are

Parenthood is a lot.  And not every family needs, or wants, in-person support. Maybe you already have people helping you with physical tasks, but what you really need is someone to help you make sense of everything else.

Whether you're recovering from birth, struggling with sleep, or unsure if you're "doing it right," you're not alone. And you shouldn't have to figure it all out at 2 am with Google (especially when every article says something different and just sends you down a rabbit hole that leaves you more confused and second-guessing everything).

That's why I offer virtual postpartum support that gives you real answers, calm guidance, and expert help, tailored to your family.

It's one-on-one postpartum support you can access from anywhere, right when you need it -even in your PJs, curled up in your favorite chair, sipping cold coffee or one that has been reheated for the third time.

Why Parents Choose Virtual Support

  • It's flexible and easy, and doesn't require leaving the house. No need to get dressed, tidy up, or pack a diaper bag.  Just hop on from your couch, bed, or rocking chair and get the support you need-right where you are, whenever you're ready.

  • You get real-time answers from someone who gets it. No more second-guessing every decision or spending hours on conflicting advice from the internet. I'll help you sort through the noise and make confident choices for your baby and your family.

  • It's personalized, hands-on support that fits your life. Every session is one-on-one and focused on what matters most to you. Whether it's babywearing, feeding, sleep routines, or soothing techniques, I'll walk you through it step by step so that you feel confident, not just informed.

  • It's more affordable than in-person care. You get expert, compassionate support at a lower cost-without sacrificing quality or connection.

  • It grows with you. My virtual support doesn't end after the newborn stage. I'm here for the whole journey- whether you're figuring out feeding, adjusting to naps and routines, starting solids, managing toddler transitions, or just navigating the everyday changes that come with each new phase.

  • It builds your confidence, not just your to-do list. You'll leave each session feeling clearer, calmer, and more supported-with real strategies you can use right away.

Baby + Child Sleep Support

For Babies and Children Ages 4 Months-6 Years

Struggling with your child's sleep? You’re not alone.

If your child's sleep feels unpredictable, exhausting, or like nothing is working anymore, I'm here to help. Whether you're navigating bedtime battles, night waking, early rising, or tricky nap transitions. I'll work with you to create a realistic, personalized sleep plan that feels right for your child and for you.

Common Sleep Challenges I Support:

  • Frequent night waking
  • Short naps
  • Bedtime battles or resistance
  • Needing to lie in bed with your child or stay in the room until they fall asleep
  • Early morning wake-ups
  • Feeding, rocking, or holding to sleep (including breast, bottle, or pacifier use)
  • Nap transitions and regressions
  • Separation anxiety
  • Bedsharing (and transitioning out, if desired)

My approach is gentle,

supportive, and built around

your family's needs.

I focus on sleep strategies that are realistic, responsive, and aligned with your child's development and your parenting style.

This is sleep teaching- a gentle, supportive way of helping your child learn healthy sleep habits over time. It's not about rigid schedules or letting your child cry alone. It's about building skills gradually, offering consistency, and creating a safe sleep foundation that works for your unique family.

Through sleep teaching, your child learns how to fall asleep independently- a skill that supports better rest now and builds healthy habits for a lifetime.

You don't have to choose between connection and better sleep. With the right guidance, you can have both.

client
Kristin has been a tremendous blessing to us.

“Kristin began helping my wife and me shortly after we returned home with our daughter from the hospital NICU. She was immediately a calming and stabilizing presence in our home and helped us during very challenging times, in just the way a loving family member would. We always felt completely comfortable and at ease around her. My wife and baby faced a range of medical situations and Kristin was always ready to answer our questions with insight and practical wisdom. Her advice with difficult lactation issues was truly first-rate; offering more insightful and effective help than any lactation consultant and doctor we visited. Kristin is effective with household matters, a source of intelligent and sound advice, and has a warm, gentle spirit. She has been a tremendous blessing to us and we can not recommend her enough."
