Practical guidance, compassionate care, and experienced
support during the early weeks and months with your baby
How Postpartum Doula Support Can Help Your Family
Compassionate support for you, your baby, and your growing family.
You don’t have to
figure it out alone.
The early weeks after your baby arrives can be tender, joyful, exhausting, and overwhelming— all at the same time.
Your body is healing.
Your baby is adjusting to life outside the womb.
Your family is finding its footing, often on very little sleep.
You may be navigating feeding questions, newborn sleep, physical recovery, changing family dynamics.
Or perhaps you're simply trying to make sense of the endless advice coming from friends, family, social media, and Google.
As your postpartum doula, I'm here to be the trusted person you can to turn to for practical help, evidence-based guidance, and calm reassurance as you adjust to life with your baby.
My goal is to help you feel supported, informed, and more confident—so you can trust yourself and discover what works best for your family.

In-Home Postpartum Doula Support in Western Connecticut
Personalized support, tailored to your family's needs
No two families—and no two postpartum journeys—are exactly alike.
Every visit is thoughtfully tailored to what you need most that day.
Some visits may focus on answering feeding questions, understanding your baby’s cues, or helping you create gentle daily rhythms.
Other days, support might look like caring for your baby while you shower or rest, preparing a nourishing meal, washing bottles and pump parts, folding baby laundry, or tidying the kitchen so you can simply enjoy being with your baby.
Sometimes, the most valuable part of a visit is having someone there to listen, answer questions as they arise, and help you feel more confident in the decisions you’re making.
My goal is to lighten your mental load so you can spend more time recovering, bonding with your baby, and enjoying this season of life.

Kristin has been a
tremendous blessing to us.
“Kristin began helping my wife and me shortly after we returned home with our daughter from the hospital NICU. She was immediately a calming and stabilizing presence in our home and helped us during very challenging times, in just the way a loving family member would. We always felt completely comfortable and at ease around her. My wife and baby faced a range of medical situations and Kristin was always ready to answer our questions with insight and practical wisdom. Her advice with difficult lactation issues was truly first-rate; offering more insightful and effective help than any lactation consultant and doctor we visited. Kristin is effective with household matters, a source of intelligent and sound advice, and has a warm, gentle spirit. She has been a tremendous blessing to us and we can not recommend her enough."
